Janet Fitch was born in Los Angeles, a third-generation native, and grew up in a family of voracious readers. But when she won a student exchange to Keele University in England, where her passion for Russian history led her, she awoke in the middle of the night on her twenty-first birthday with the revelation she wanted to write fiction. Janet Fitch is a faculty member in the Master of Professional Writing Program at the University of Southern California, where she teaches fiction. ReviewThough I'm currently still reading through Paint it Black, I got the book based on the fact that White Oleander was one of the most addicting books I've ever had the pleasure of reading. It wasn't even the 'journey' or anything cliche like that that most people tout good books for, it was the writing style itself, the way she managed to make you empathise to the point of knowing just what each character was feeling through each action that drew me towards Miss Fitch's writing.I can't express enough how amazingly well written the book was, and how so far that I am enjoying, beyond words, Paint it Black. When I'm finished with it, I'll come back to elaborate more on each. disclaimerAll the images and content in this site are © their respective owners, and this is merely a fan's attempt to pay worship to the author Janet Fitch.
